Universal Method For Changing Any Android IMEI

So today we'll be looking at an awesome trick on how to change your phone imei. Changing of imei gives you lots of advantages and the most interesting part of it all is that; it gives you the ability to change your phone model. whenever am using blackberry imei my service provider sees my phone as blackberry. This give me the opportunity of using blackberry services on my phone like BIS and others.
To change your imei, below are the two basic methods;
a. Chamelephon method
b. MTK engineering method
Chamelephon Method
This is the easiest method of changing imei and is my favourite all you need is a rooted android phone and download and install Chamelephon your phone.
- Your phone must be rooted (click here to learn how to root)
- Click here to download chamelephon
- Open the downloaded chamelephon
- Copy and paste the new imei or you can tweak this one
- Imei 1 is for sim 1 while imei 2 is sim 2 so select your desired sim slot
- Now select apply new imeis
- And restart your phone for changes to take effect.
Confirm the new imei by dialing *#06#
MTk Engineering Method
Other Stubborn MTK Devices IMEI
1. Generate your 15 digit Blackberry IMEI
2. Download and install MTK Engineering Mode from play store.
3. Open it and click on MTK Settings
4. Then wipe your screen to left site to see Connectivityoptions.
5. Scroll down to CDS Information and tap on it.
6. Then, look for Radio Information, tap on it and you'll see something like:
Phone1 -
Phone2 -
7. Click on phone 1. If you want to change your sim1 or sim2.
8. You will see AT+
9. Type any letter in the search box after AT+ and delete the letter you typed and then, choose;
For Phone 1:
“AT+EGMR=1,7,”YOUR NEW IMEI NO” (make sure you put a space between AT +EGMR)
For Phone 2:
“AT+EGMR=1,10,”YOUR NEW IMEI NO” (make sure you put a between space AT +EGMR)
10. After that, select SEND AT COMMAND. You will see a message "AT Command Msent"
11. Close everything and restart your phone, then dial *#06# to view your new imie.
Note that Changing of IMEI is illegal in some countries, and Shelaf will not be held responsible for any consequences that befall the changer.
Also, backup your original imei in case anything goes wrong then revert using the above procedures for changing.
