Thursday, May 19, 2016
In this our 21st century smart phones has become an
inevitable gadget to everyone irrespective of their social class or status in
the society. Every one try as possible as they can, to get a quality phone for themselves. But sadly abandon the Smartphone they got with
their hard-earn money because of the short life span of their pone batteries. Worry no more Smartphone users because an end
has come for that bad ordeal. Below are
the hints to increase your smart phones battery span;
- See what is draining the battery: Go to setting >battery to see an organised breakdown of what is consuming your phones battery. Applications and features will display in a descending list of battery hogs. If you see an application you barely use or a feature you never use, you can uninstall the app or turn it off.
- Minimize email, face book and twitter update: Reset your various messaging apps to “manual” for the updates or refresh frequency, just as a test, and you will immediately expand your phones battery life in a great amount. Haven seen the great difference that makes, try re-enabling the most important ones, and possibly reduce their draining frequency in the process.
- Switch off irrelevant hard ware radios: It’s cool that phones of today have LTE, NFC, GPS, WI-FI, and Bluetooth, but we don’t need all of them activated 24 per day. Android keeps location-based apps resident in the background, and constant drain on your battery will become noticeable, fast. If your phone has a power control widget, you can use it to quickly turn on/off GSP { the largest power drainer} NFC, WI-FI, Bluetooth, and LTE. On stock android, swipe down to bring up the notification bar, and then tap the icon on the top right corner.
- Use the extra power saving mode: Latest android phones has extra power saving modes, that allows you to make use of phone basic functions like web browsing, texting, phone calls ,and Facebook. This can create extra time of standby out of just a few remaining percentage points of battery.
- Reduce your phone brightness and turn down automatic brightness:Reduction of phone brightness can go a long way in improving your battery life.
- Update your apps: Always make sure that your apps are updated frequently, even though your phone has automatic update, some apps still require manual updates. Check for app dates in Google play by hitting the menu key and going to my Apps.
